This is a REMOTE position, with preference given to the West Coast area (USA).

Overview
BioSolveIT, a leading figure in the Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) software industry, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the United States. This is a remote position, with a significant preference for candidates located in California, aiming to leverage their proximity to key markets and industry hubs. Our company, headquartered near Cologne, Germany, operates globally with offices and partners in the US, India, China, South Korea, and Japan, offering top-notch discovery services and advanced software solutions for efficient drug design.

The Position
The Regional Sales Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the application domain and the needs of our users, as well as a solid grasp of CADD software and the talent to relate it to the customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, have an outgoing personality, and the commitment to achieving the highest standards of work.

Minimum education/qualification requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated success in sales or business development.
  • A good general understanding of the drug discovery process.

  • Self-disciplined and the power of endurance as key character traits.
  • A keen mind and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • A self-starter, proven to be motivated and target-driven.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setting, prepared to travel as required.

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of the drug discovery industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience with CADD software applications (both GUI and CLI) is desirable.
