Crossing the 100 Billion Mark

REAL Space has entered the 100+ billion era. The October update brings Enamine’s Chemical Space to 113,699,103,092 virtual product molecules, opening up an even larger collection of make-on-demand chemistry for your drug discovery projects. Built from 211,806 building blocks and 161 chemical reactions, implemented as 910 technical reactions, this release marks another milestone in the long-standing collaboration between Enamine and BioSolveIT.

Enamine: Our Pioneering Partner

Enamine is now recognized as BioSolveIT’s Pioneering Partner, celebrating a collaboration that has helped shape the way researchers explore Chemical Space since 2018. Enamine contributes its synthetic expertise, building blocks, and validated reaction protocols; BioSolveIT turns this chemistry into a searchable resource through its Chemical Space technology.

Together, we connect compound exploration with practical access to molecules for experimental testing. Crossing the 100 billion mark is a shared achievement, and we are proud to continue this journey with Enamine.

From Millions to More Than 100 Billion

The journey began in February 2018 with the joint launch of REAL Space and REAL Space Navigator, the predecessor of today’s infiniSee. Its first release offered more than 600 million virtual compounds, combining orderable chemistry with efficient searching on modest hardware.

Regular updates brought REAL Space to approximately 11 billion compounds in 2019, 70 billion in 2024, and 95 billion in April 2026. This release takes it beyond the 1011 mark. As BioSolveIT’s longest-running Chemical Space collaboration, REAL Space continues to grow with the needs of the scientific community.

Explore 113 Billion Possibilities

Search the expanded REAL Space with infiniSee through three complementary modes: Scaffold Hopper for pharmacophore-guided similarity, Analog Hunter for fingerprint-based analog searches, and Motif Matcher for substructure and maximum common substructure searches. The corresponding command-line tools (FTrees, SpaceLight, and SpaceMACS) support integration into your own workflows.

Chemical Space exploration workflows with BioSolveIT tools

For structure-based discovery, explore REAL Space within your target’s binding site using Chemical Space DockingĀ® in SeeSAR. Screen for candidates with favorable binding-site interactions on standard hardware, with searches running offline.
