Solution

The specified license does not cover using the tool on this computer. The given license is restricted to explicitly specified computers, identified by so called host ids. The host id given in the error message is the one of your computer, which is not registered in the specified license.

The mismatch may have several reasons

• The license file was issued for a different computer; it will be valid only for the requested computer. If this was a mistake, please consult our support to find a fast solution.
• The hardware, and with it the host id, of your computer changed after having requested the license. Basic hardware changes, e.g. the main board, would require a new license key. But the host id may also change on now unplugged peripherals, e.g. a docking station. If re-enabling / plugging in doesn’t help, consult our support.
