As part of our Tool-of-the-Month series, we are making SeeSAR, including Chemical Space Docking® (C-S-D), available completely free of charge for 2.5 months. From September 1 to November 15, 2026, users can explore and test all features of SeeSAR and C-S-D to their heart’s content.
Aim of the Announcement
- The wheels of companies and academia often turn slowly, and hardware cannot always be procured quickly. By providing sufficient lead time with this announcement, we want to ensure that there is enough time to acquire a suitable machine.
- Drug discovery projects need to be planned carefully. Target selection, team alignment, expectations, and budgets for ordering compounds all need to be discussed and approved, and synthesis capacities need to be coordinated.
- We want to help you work efficiently. The appropriate setup for Chemical Space Docking® needs to be prepared in advance. Our support team can help get the required computing instances ready for this purpose.
What Can I Use the License For?
- Everything in the SeeSAR and C-S-D world. Access all Modes and Modules, including third-party applications.
- The license is designed to be used. Any results generated with the software during this period therefore automatically belong to the user. Feel free to publish them.
- The period applies to all users, regardless of whether they are affiliated with academia or industry.
- The time period was deliberately chosen to be generous, allowing users to explore the full power of SeeSAR and C-S-D. Common use cases include compound ideation campaigns, hit discovery, SAR studies, and virtual screening, including the screening of ultra-large Chemical Spaces (Enamine’s REAL Space, eMolecules’ eXplore, and many more).
How Can I Prepare for the Free Period?
- The most important thing is to have the appropriate hardware ready. The SeeSAR requirements can be found here, and the HPSee requirements here, which are important for Chemical Space Docking®.
