UK-QSAR & Cheminformatics Society Meeting Spring 2026

Welcome to the UK-QSAR 2026 meeting page. This year’s meeting will take place on 21 April in Edinburgh. Jointly hosted by BioSolveIT and Enamine, the UK-QSAR & Cheminformatics Society Meeting brings together cheminformatics enthusiasts for scientific exchange, high-calibre talks, and excellent networking opportunities.

Meeting Overview

  • In-person meeting in Edinburgh (UK): Join the community on site for a full day of talks, posters, and networking.
  • Target audience: Cheminformatics and QSAR enthusiasts from academia and industry, including researchers, students, and professionals.
  • Free of charge: Participation is free, but registration is required to attend.
  • Scientific programme: High-calibre talks plus an interactive poster session showcasing current work and encouraging discussion.
  • Hosted by: Jointly hosted by BioSolveIT and Enamine in collaboration with the UK QSAR & Cheminformatics Group.

To attend UK-QSAR 2026 in person, please make sure to register in advance. Registration is free of charge, but required for entry and helps us plan the venue and catering accordingly.

Poster Session: Share Your Work

We also warmly encourage you to submit poster. Posters are a great way to share your work, spark discussion, and connect with other attendees throughout the day. All poster abstracts will be available in an online overview on this website during the conference, so attendees can conveniently browse the posters and plan which presenters to visit.
  • The official poster format of the conference is A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm/33.1 x 46.8 in).
    Materials for mounting the posters on the conference day will be provided.

Venue

The meeting will be held at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. The venue is within easy reach of Edinburgh Waverley station and is well connected by public transport, with shops, cafés, and hotels nearby.

Networking Events

In addition to the main meeting, two informal networking opportunities around the event are planned:
  • On 20 April, you are warmly invited to join the traditional pre-event dinner in Edinburgh for a relaxed evening of conversation ahead of the conference.
    The venue will be announced soon. We will contact all registrants by email in advance and ask you to confirm whether you would like to attend, so we can plan numbers and make the reservation accordingly.

    Participants will cover the cost of the dinner themselves.
  • After the meeting on 21 April, we will round off the day with a casual get-together with drinks, offering a final chance to continue discussions, meet fellow attendees, and connect with speakers and poster presenters.
