Cloud Engineer & DevOps Expert (m/f/d)

As a Cloud Engineer & DevOps Expert you will become the key facilitator for all our remote compute efforts at BioSolveIT. With your help we plan to achieve ambitious development goals and retain our position as premier provider of Drug Discovery Software for all Chemists.

What we expect

• You have extensive experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Containerization (especially Docker) is your daily business, with a keen eye on networking aspects and custom solutions.
• Linux has been your home base and infrastructure-as-code (like Ansible and Terraform) are known to you, as well as a good understanding of topics like compliance, security and their implications on development.
• You actually want to do DevOps, striving for stellar in-house support (Developers, Services & IT) as well as customer support – all the way to direct communication (verbally and in writing).
• A definite plus for any application is knowledge of some of the following: Kubernetes; CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD; software development in C# & .NET, Python; Postgres; SLURM or other schedulers.
