Independence Day - Cheminformatics Solution Provider Establishes More Direct Contact to Customers; Integration of FlexX Molecular Docking into other Graphic Environments Envisaged.
Starting immediately, the renown cheminformatics solution provider, BioSolveIT will service all customers directly with Flex* products (FlexX, FlexS, and associated modules). After a decade of successfully providing cutting edge scientific software to modelers and medicinal chemists, the company is proud to crown its 5th birthday after its founding on July 5th 2001 by securing a more direct connection to its customers.

The new independence gives the world-wide renowned cheminformatics solution supplier more freedom for an integration of its software into other modeling environments. As disclosed, BioSolveIT is currently investigating new ways to integrate its widely established docking program FlexX into other graphical user platforms.
Great care has been taken to ensure that the change of distribution relationship happens virtually seamlessly for the existing customer base. Existing contracts shall not be affected by the change: All existing users will continue to be serviced as determined in their respective contracts. New contracts, however, will be issued by BioSolveIT only. As before, all users should contact support@biosolveit.de with any problems, comments and requests regarding BioSolveIT software. A free-of-charge evaluation of all products is available through any of the company's contact points.
The company announced several novel developments in the pipeline: Dr. Lemmen says: "In order to further improve the value of our software, in the near future, BioSolveIT will release a Graphical Interface (GUI) of the stand-alone version of the software that will set new standards; the prototype of a FlexX GUI will be officially presented at the ACS Fall meeting in San Francisco." Also a FlexX Release 2.1 is scheduled to come out this fall and will include a new module, FlexX Screen. The module will speed-up docking by an order of magnitude while maintaining accuracy.
