When you experience a freeze in LeadIT under Linux, this might be due to an improper working NVidia graphics card driver.
  1. If you are unsure whether your machine is indeed equipped with an NVIDIA graphics card, you might
    • Search the output from
      leadit --commandline --systeminfo

      at the command line.
    • If you find NVIDIA here, then
  2. Perform one of the following steps
    • Either update the graphics card driver using your linux distribution's software management
    • Or downgrade, if you are already using the latest available driver
    • Or manually install the latest available driver from http://www.nvidia.com
  3. Restart LeadIT
