The current releases of the BioSolveIT tools
- LeadIT
- FTrees
- FlexS
- CoLibri
- PoseView
all use license keys that use the BioSolveIT-HostID as the machine identifier. When you are also using other BioSolveIT tools or older versions of the above mentioned tools using the Composite-HostID as the machine identifier you have to
- use the new BIOSOLVE vendor daemon
- keep both license files separate in one directory
- make sure, that all license files in that directory have the file suffix ".lic" (also check option "hide/show known suffixes" when using windows file explorer, oftentimes files may have the suffix ".lic.txt" although only ".lic" will be displayed)
- start lmgrd with "-c <licensefile-directory>", e.g. for linux
lmgrd -c
/opt/biosolveit/license
When using lmtools under windows, you have to enter the license file directory in "Config Services > Path to license file". When having selected a license file with "Browse", you have to manually remove the file name (everything from the rightmost backslash "\" to the right) from the path in the corresponding line edit field, see image below.
Please make sure that you also remove the trailing backslash from the resulting path, otherwise lmtools will not be able to find the license files!
As an alternative to specifying a licensefile directory, you may also specify all license files
explicitely, separated either by semicolon (;) on windows using
lmtools, or by colon (:) on linux.
Example for linux: lmgrd -c
/opt/biosolveit/license/biosolveit-new-hostid.lic:/opt/biosolveit/license/biosolveit-old-compositeid.lic
-l biosolveit-licenses.log
(lmtools with license folder, removing file name component)
