There are several ways to determine the BioSolveIT-HostID of a computer (this is not the CPU-ID you can determine with other tools).

  • LeadIT
    • Start the GUI. Go to menu "LeadIT > Global Preferences...", then choose tab "License Keys"; you will find the BioSolveIT-HostID at the top of the dialog.
    • Execute in a console window "leadit -i"
    • Only Linux: If you don't have an X-Server running on the license server machine, see below "flexidgen"
  • Any BioSolveIT tool: Execute in a console window "<tool> -i", e.g. "ftrees -i"
  • Using FlexIDGen: Please use the tiny tool FlexIDGen that you will find in the FlexIDGen column at www.biosolveit.de/download after having selected your tool.
    • Linux: Execute flexidgen in a console window without any arguments.
    • Windows: This tool is already part of the download packages of each tool, just doubleclick the corresponding FlexIDGen icon in your installation folder or on your desktop.

Every method will print out an ID like "BIOSOLVEIT=0BS..."

We need the output to generate evaluation and full licenses for you. Please send the output to license@biosolveit.de
