This error is usually a DNS or hosts file issue. Check your /etc/hosts file and verify that your IP Address is correctly mapped to your hostname. Verify that the host name in the /etc/hosts file is the exact hostname in the license file. Also, contact your system administrator and check for DNS issues.
You can try the following:
- Open a terminal window
- For windows: Start Menu -> Execute ... -> cmd <RETURN>
- For linux/unix: Start a terminal with e.g. konsole or xterm
- Determine hostname:
hostname <RETURN> - ping <hostname> <RETURN> (replace <hostname> by the returned hostname of the previous command)
It should return something like:
Z:\>hostname
RDServ
Z:\>ping rdserv
Ping wird ausgeführt für RDServ.biosolveit.loc [fe80::bd26:7c8a:9605:3403%13] mit 32 Bytes Daten:

If you get an error like: "unknown host <hostname>" ask your system administrator to check the host name resolution.
