BioSolveIT-HostID Unique identifier for the license server machine using served licenses or for the machine where the tool should be executed using node locked licenses. See How to determine the BioSolveIT-HostID.
Client Computer Computer where the BioSolveIT application, e.g. LeadIT is executed. "Client Computer" is used in contrast to "License Server Machine" or "License Server Computer", where the license manager application lmadmin or lmgrd runs. All Client Computers need to have access to the License Server Computer. Both, Client and License Server Computer, don't need to be different machines; if desired, they can also be the same computer.
License Server A separate program (lmadmin), that manages license key availability. The computer, where the license server runs, has to be reachable by all other computers, that want to execute the BioSolveIT software.
Node Locked License With this type of license, the licensed tool may only be started on 1 selected machine.
Test License Node Locked License, available for free for 2 weeks, extendable for further 6 weeks.
